Schon als kleines Mädchen habe ich es geliebt: das Hüpfen über die Wellen auf unserer geliebten Nordseeinsel Juist. Ich erinnere mich dabei auch an die erste “Waschmaschine”, die ich verpasst bekam. Eine Welle erfasste mich, kaum fünf Jahre alt, hob mich hoch und wirbelte mich herum, bis mir Hören und Sehen verging. Es war ein Riesenschreck; das Wasser war in Nase und Ohren, ich konnte nichts mehr sehen… Es war aber auch ein Riesenspaß!

Ever since I was a little girl, I loved it: jumping over the waves on our beloved North Sea island of Juist. I also remember my very first “washing machine” experience. A wave caught me when I was barely five years old, lifted me up and tossed me around until I could no longer hear or see. It was a huge fright; water was in my nose and ears, I couldn’t see anything anymore… But it was also tremendous fun!
Wie ich zur Wasserfrau wurde…
Was ist eine Wasserfrau? Eine Wasserfrau lebt ihr Leben selbstbestimmt und frei. Sie liebt die Natur und lebt mit ihr im Einklang. Ihr Leben dreht sich um die Magie des Wassers und die Weite des Ozeans. Dabei sucht sie stets nach Möglichkeiten zur persönlichen Weiterentwicklung, weil sie das Spiel der Wellen, das Auf und Ab, als Lebensrhythmus akzeptiert hat.
Jedenfalls geht es mir so 
Dieser Blog ist ein Ort, an dem persönliche Entwicklung und Naturzauber zusammenkommen. Ich möchte mit dir in die tiefblaue Welt von Surferinnen und Meerjungfrauen abtauchen, damit du dort vielleicht auch eine Quelle der Inspiration finden kannst… so, wie ich sie gefunden habe.
